Weekly Update 01/28/11

Important Dates:

Wednesday, February 2 - Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuit sale $2.50

Tuesday, February 8 - Body Safety Program

Thursday, February 10 - "Come Play with Me" in P.E.

Monday, February 14 - Boomer convocation 2:00 - 2:40; wear tennis shoes! Valentine's Day (students may bring in cards to exchange, but there will NOT be a party. Cards will be sent home to be opened.)

Friday, February 18 - All Pro-Dad's 7:45 a.m.

Monday, February 21 - President's Day - No School



Important Announcements:

*Cold and flu season are upon us! We have had many students getting ill. Please encourage your child to practice healthy habits like handwashing, eating right, and getting plenty of rest. If your child has a fever or has been throwing up, please keep them at home until they are fever and vomit free for 24 hours. Let's stay healthy!

*The January Book-It calendar is due on January 31st.

*Our classroom is running low on Kleenex. If you would like to donate a box, we would greatly appreciate it!

*The January Book-It calendar was sent home on Tuesday. Your child must read 20 minutes for 20 days, have you sign it, and return it on the 31st to be eligible for a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. Happy Reading!

*We are officially in the third nine weeks! Time is flying by! It is a fresh start and a new year. Cautions and Pit Stops started over as of Monday. I am hoping even more students get to attend the TRACK celebrations at the end of the nine weeks and semester.
