Students may wear crazy hair for a $1.00 donation towards Race for the Cure. Crazy hair includes hair paint. Students that participate will be able to walk around the track at the soccer field with Mr. Strube and Mrs. Hicks. *I would like to thank our room mother Mrs. Lynch for organizing our Spring Party. I know that the students had a great time. I would like to thank these parents for attending the party and helping: Mrs. Lynch, Mrs. Garnett, and Mrs. Ratliff. I would also like to thank all of you that donated snacks and other things for the party. We REALLY appreciate it! *Here is a letter from the parents that were at our party: Parents, THANK YOU! We had an overwhelming response to donations for Miss Whisman’s Spring Party. We collected enough for there to be snack-time opportunities, lead by Miss Whisman. Again, THANK YOU for your eager and willing donations! -Miss Whisman’s Room Parents A Look at Next Week: Reading Story: Abuela Skill: making inferences English see, give, saw, gave Spelling R-controlled vowels: air, are Writing Star student and character essays Math more or less than 1/2, fractions, unit 8 assessment (test will be Friday) Science Chapter 10
