*Earlier this week I sent home a class list for
Valentines. If your child is planning on
distributing Valentines, please make sure he/she has one for each class
member. Thanks!
* Student Council is doing a special fundraiser for
Valentine’s Day! Students will be able
to purchase a gift for a friend, family member, or staff member for only $1
each. The gift will include a Riley
Caring & Sharing heart and a small Dum-Dum sucker. These special gifts will be delivered on
Valentine’s Day by our student council representatives. Students may purchase as many of these gifts
as they would like from Thursday, February 7 through Thursday, February
14th. If your child is purchasing one of
these, please make sure he/she knows the name of the person it is for. If they are buying for a student they will
also need to know what grade the student is in and/or their teacher’s
name.
*A note from Mrs. Hopkins:
Dear Parents:
My students and I
would like to invite you to our annual Come Play with Me day in physical
education. This a fun experience at
school with your child and other parents in your class. It will be held the week of February 25-28
during your child’s physical education class.
Don’t forget to bring your tennis shoes and comfy clothes so you can
participate with your child. We look
forward to seeing you in a few weeks.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hopkins
If you plan on coming to Come Play with Me, please make sure
you have a criminal background check on file.
Thanks!
