*Come to the Brownsburg
Orange Leaf any time between 11am to 10pm on Saturday, May 2nd! Orange Leaf
will donate 10% of the total sales to support Delaware Trail Elementary. Thank
you for your support!
*Please email, call, or send
in a note to Mrs. Hopkins if you will be able to volunteer to help with our
track and field day on Friday, May 22nd. We still are in need of 30 helpers.
Please state if you can work morning, afternoon, or full day. Also give your
email and phone number where you be reached. Thanks so much for helping our
students on this fun day. They all look forward to it!

*The last day for our class
reading competition is TODAY. I will
pull points reports over that weekend and announce the students that qualify
for the pizza party with me next week (although some of them know who they are
already!).
*Our zoo field trip will be
on Tuesday, May 19th. We will
leave school at 9:00 a.m. and return by 2:00 p.m. If your child did not purchase a sack lunch
from the cafeteria, he/she will need to bring one from home. All students will need to wear their dog jog
t-shirts. They are the neon yellow ones
with a purple paw print on the front. I
am looking forward to a great trip!
*Continue to work on addition
and subtraction math facts. Make sure to
use those fact triangles that were sent home, or you can practice for free
online at www.xtramath.org.
*If anyone is able to come in
next week to volunteer, send me an e-mail and let me know what day and time
works best for you! Thanks!
*I believe in building relationships with the children both
inside my classroom and outside the classroom.
If your child participates in any extracurricular activities (sports,
dance, theater, etc.), or has any other events that he/she would like to invite
